Now on to the neck. That's the long thin thing on a guitar that you move your hand up and down to make guitar sort of noises. This piece of wood is Queensland Maple and the last of this particular design. Very pretty as it shimmers silver and gold. It started out as one piece then I was made to cut it, give it a bit of a sanding then glued it back together. I do hope that Chris isn't doing this to us as a bit of fun. 'Here lad, take this bit of wood, cut a bit off then glue it back. We'll make a man of you yet lad.' If you could just pretend to have a Yorkshire accent at this bit it might be a bit funnier. See you all in three weeks. |
