| Finally got to use the wooden bendy clamps. Yes I know they look like bits of wood with masking tape on the ends, well they are. Anyway they are integral to the making of guitars. As you can't get one of the other clamps inside the guitar some pure genius, nobody we know, came up with this idea. I'm using these clamps to clamp down some little bits of wood up the centre of the back. Chris tells me that this is to strengthen the back. Up until now I've had no reason to doubt Chris and his wisdom, however, in making these bits of wood all you had to do was look at them and they would break. How the hell are they going to keep my guitar in one piece when I'm banging it over my head at a drunken BBQ. Again for the technically minded they are made out of King Billy Pine.
